Peter Sheppard becomes SaRS Chair

Peter Sheppard, Technical Director, Systems Assurance at WSP became Chair of the Safety and Reliability Society at the Annual General meeting on 12th November 2019.

Peter, a long time member of the Society is a Fellow of SaRS, IET and IRSE and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.

Members of SaRS who attended the AGM, outgoing Chair Emma Taylor and President Richard Denning welcomed Peter who outlined his intentions for the coming year, which included the Society focus will be progressing to Licenced member status with the Engineering Council.
