Train Maintenance Depot tour
This is an exciting opportunity to see a train depot up close: Hitachi are kindly partnering with the Safety and Reliability Society (SaRS) to offer you the opportunity to visit Bounds Green Train Maintenance Centre. Following a safety briefing, we will have the chance to see several different maintenance roads, which are each specialised for different types of work, plus several other areas of the depot. There will also be the opportunity to walk through one of the units and take a look inside the cab. Depending on the work taking place on the day, we may get to see maintenance work in progress, but there is no guarantee.
Given the limited number of spaces, please only register if you have every intention of attending. If your plans change and you are no longer able to make it, please let us know immediately as we will be operating a waiting list and others might wish to take your place.
Please make sure you bring your own safety boots! Other Personal Protective Equipment can be provided.
