Process safety leadership can be difficult to achieve. It can be easy to preach but difficult to practice without the right tools. Management of complex process safety facilities comes with a large number of competing priorities from immediate production and earning targets, legal compliance, insurer interventions to projects for improvements. Process safety can be lost in these other priorities and become a reactive “firefighting” movement at your facility, but process safety needs to be integrated with these other leadership decisions. It is not a bolt on when managing high hazard facilities.

The issue comes when we consider that process safety is complex. An incident generally arises from several failed barriers (all the way from concept selection to maintenance) and to an outsider process safety incidents can all seem specific to that facility. For someone who was hired for management or financial competence process safety can seem a world away.  In this presentation I will give you a simple framework which can be used for decision-making on high hazard facilities which will help you see results immediately.

The webinar will be relevant to process safety managers, safety managers, site managers, finance managers, HR managers, IT managers, etc.
