Developments in technology and digitalisation introduce new and diverse risks that evolve over time, and Cybersecurity risk is one of those key issues facing us today!

The management of Cybersecurity is an emerging aspect that all industries are now considering and “slowly” incorporating into their design and operational procedures, not only under the information technology (IT) point of view but also for the operational technology (OT).

The webinar will present a panoramic view of the cybersecurity risks, and the cybersecurity pillars and objectives will be explained in the context of Operational Technology and in relation to safety. The question will be asked: Can unsecure systems be safe to operate and how can we improve their security? To answer this question, the webinar will introduce some tools/best practices that can be used to prioritise and support security across the product lifecycle and when operating.

Understanding how cybersecurity can influence the daily operations and how knowledge can make the difference, is an important aspect for all Safety and Reliability professionals.
