Appointments at Safety and Reliability Society 2024 AGM on Tuesday 12th November

We held the Safety and Reliability Society 2024 AGM on Tuesday 12th November, and we are very pleased to announce new appointments to both our Trustee Board and to SaRS National Council.

We will introduce our new officers individually over the next weeks , but first we would like to thank our outgoing President Richard Denning for his double term as President spanning 6 years, and introduce our newest additions to the committees.

Louise Whiting was appointed President at the AGM. Louise has served on Council and recently as Chair.

Phil Lang took the SaRS Chair, and thanked Chris Harrison for his year as Chair.

Joanne Lewis joined the board as a trustee and director and Chair Elect.

Peter Stantonremains Finance Director.

There are two new additions to SaRS Council. Obinna Ugboaja and Andrew Buchan were elected to SaRS Council for a term of three years.

SaRS welcomes everyone to their new terms of office, and thanks everyone who volunteers on SaRS committees, working groups and everyone who attends webinars and reads the Safety and Reliability Journal.

But most of all we want to thank our Members and Affiliate Organisation for their support – SaRS belongs to you and we continue to work to disseminate knowledge about safety and reliability and bring you opportunities for continuing professional development.
