About SaRS
The Safety and Reliability Society is the professional body for safety, reliability and risk management practitioners. We provide our members with cross-industry learning, CPD and networking opportunities, and a recognised path to professional registration for CEng and IEng. We are internationally recognised as the leading body for domain expertise through technical seminars, journal, knowledge-base, webinars and membership.
We encourage the application of industry standard safety and reliability techniques by individuals, organisations and governments. We provide an international forum for experts to exchange information and best practice, and work to educate the next generation through professional development.
SaRS was founded 1980 in the UK and now has members and branches all over the world. Membership is open to everyone from students through to experienced engineers.
Members receive our quarterly peer reviewed journal, regular newsletter and discounted access to conferences and events. They can also use the post-nominal letters MSaRS and FSaRS. Our regional branches, led by industry experts, run events and provide networking opportunities specific to their location and industry. Thus in turn provides CPD and expert-led networking opportunities.
Our affiliate organisations are leaders in their fields, and demonstrate their commitment to safety and reliability best practice by supporting our work and partnering with us to provide their employees with first-class professional development opportunities.
